When we say ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘DIP’, or ‘Design It Please’ it’s because that’s who we are and we own and run the Site.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We collect certain personal information about visitors and users of our Site.
The most common types of information we collect include things like: user-names, email addresses, IP addresses, other contact details, survey responses, photos, payment information such as payment agent details, transaction details, tax information, and web analytics data.
We collect personal information directly when you provide it to us and automatically as you navigate through the Site.
We collect your personal information when you provide it to us when you complete client registration and buy services on our Site, subscribe to a newsletter, email list, submit feedback, fill out a survey, or send us a communication.

- financial and/or transaction details from payment providers located in the US, UK, and Australia in order to process a transaction;

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you fill out one of the contact forms
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Akismet is a SPAM protection service provided by Automattic Inc.

This type of service allows this Site to distribute their content using servers located across different countries and to optimize their performance.
Which Personal Data are processed depends on the characteristics and the way these services are implemented. Their function is to filter communications between this Site and the User’s browser.
Considering the widespread distribution of this system, it is difficult to determine the locations to which the contents that may contain Personal Information User are transferred.
CloudFlare is a traffic optimization and distribution service provided by CloudFlare Inc.
The way CloudFlare is integrated means that it filters all the traffic through this Site, i.e., communication between this Site and the User’s browser, while also allowing analytical data from this Site to be collected.

This type of service allows interaction with social networks or other external platforms directly from the pages of this Site.
The interaction and information obtained through this Site are always subject to the User’s privacy settings for each social network. This type of service might still collect traffic data for the pages where the service is installed, even when Users do not use it.

The Facebook Like button and social widgets are services allowing interaction with the Facebook social network provided by Facebook, Inc.

This type of service makes it possible to manage a database of email contacts, phone contacts or any other contact information to communicate with the User.

MailChimp is an email address management and message sending service provided by The Rocket Science Group, LLC.
Personal Data collected: address, company name, Cookies, country, date of birth, email address, first name, last name and phone number.
Customer Testimonials and Comments
We post customer testimonials and comments on our Websites, which may contain Personal Information. We obtain each customer’s consent via email prior to posting the customer’s name and testimonial.
Use of Credit Card Information
If you give us credit card information, we use it solely to check your financial qualifications and collect payment from you. We use a third-party service provider to manage credit card processing. This service provider is not permitted to store, retain, or use information you provide except for the sole purpose of credit card processing on our behalf.
Who we share your data with
We will never sell your Personal Information to any third party.
We employ other companies and people to provide services to visitors to our Site and our customers and may need to share your information with them to provide information, products or services to you. Examples may include analyzing data or performing statistical analysis, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments, developing or designing, project managing, and providing customer service or support. In all cases where we share your information with such agents, we explicitly require the agent to acknowledge and adhere to our privacy and customer data handling policies.
How long we retain your data
Personal Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been collected for.
- Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between Design It Please and the User shall be retained until such contract has been fully performed.
- Personal Data collected for the purposes of Design It Please’s legitimate interests shall be retained as long as needed to fulfill such purposes. Users may find specific information regarding the legitimate interests pursued by DIP within the relevant sections of this document or by contacting us.
We may be allowed to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever the User has given consent to such processing, as long as such consent is not withdrawn. Furthermore, we may be obliged to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever required to do so for the performance of a legal obligation or upon order of an authority.
Once the retention period expires, Personal Data shall be deleted. Therefore, the right to access, the right to erasure, the right to rectification and the right to data portability cannot be enforced after expiration of the retention period.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
